None of JAM’s products have tags or care labels. Apart from the fact almost everyone finds tags annoying, for those with sensory-related dressing needs tags can make a huge difference to comfort, and therefore regulation and participation in other more important activities. Printed-on labels are also beneficial for those with reduced mobility who may be at risk of getting pressure sores from big bulky tags, or are unable to adjust their clothing to eliminate the discomfort caused by tags and labels.

Often people who use a wheelchair have the front of their tops covered by straps or different wheelchair accessories, causing the branding on the front of their clothes to be lost. By adding our logo onto the sleeves no one misses out on showing off their JAM.

90% Bamboo:
Bamboo is an extremely soft fabric, so for those that have sensory-related dressing needs, wearing comfortable clothing can make a world of difference to regulation and therefore participation in the rest of the day. Bamboo has a heap of other benefits such as being hypoallergenic, moisture wicking, anti-bacterial, breathable and thermo-regulating. This may benefit those who find it difficult to self-regulate their temperatures or have skin sensitivities.

10% Elastane:
Having that extra stretch in the fabric is beneficial for those that have physical difficulties with dressing, who may need to pull a lot on their tops to get over their heads/around limbs, or even those that require physical assistance when getting dressed and the person assisting has to stretch the top around their heads. The extra stretch from the elastane means no more worries about losing the top’s shape, or ripping the seams when trying to stretch it.
